Every time that I  get to shoot at a new venue,  I have a hard time believing that it’s real life. Having us photograph a wedding is an investment at this stage in our business. So for my brides to Be so gracious and even tip you… I mean is that even a thing?   to have someone invest in not only our Wedding Experience but also choose to leave a tip,  is an incredible honor!

 

As soon as we arrived we were so impressed with the gorgeous setting. The Venue was beautiful and the event staff were amazing!!  It was the perfect setting for an intimate wedding! Jake & Erin were surrounded by family and friends as they shared their vows in  boise Idaho. It was absolutely perfect….. no rain… no humidity, and a beautiful sunset!

The property itself isn’t huge and so Jake & Erin were so trusting when I asked them to use unique and unassuming areas for their portraits! They walked dirt roads, we not afraid to get dirty and stepped into a hydrangea bush all for the sake of great portraits, and I couldn’t have been more proud!!!

Mara and I love photographing their beautiful wedding day and we’re so thankful that Jake & Erin you are such an amazing couple. Thank you for allowing us into your life for this special season! It was truly an honor to capture your day for your families! Enjoy your blog post!!!

Brandon and Sarah are some of the most adorable people I have ever met. Not only its their family incredibly beautiful from the inside out. But they treated me like family from the time we met. I adored every minute I had with them and I just loved how much they loved to have fun and loved each other.  as you take a peek through this gallery your going to just smile with all the joy you see. Missa & Nader | Seattle & Bothel Washington | Wedding Photographer

Let’s get the summer kicked off with this beautiful new family in Seattle Washington.  The wether was perfect  and the family and friends for the week were just incredible!  If you Know Missa and Nadder at all you already know they have a heart of gold and I am pretty sure this is a match made in heaven.

Missa finished her degree and will be starting her nursing up this summer, so this is so exciting to start off their new marriage with and Nader  does housing management so, they will be a busy couple while living in about 30 min from down town Seattle.

As far as the wedding day went, I would say it went pretty perfect she had family and friends were round all day to help. the weather was a dream…  and my beautiful bride and groom couldn’t have been moore perfect.

*** I also want to give a BIG shout out to Michael Quintana  Missa’s Brother for helping me shoot this day… He helped with the mens getting ready and the first look when he wasn’t busy being in the wedding. He did a great job… Thanks Michael… we love you.. ***

Sara & Brandon | Engaged | McCall wedding photographer

As I headed up the hill to McCall the weather and roads just happen to be perfect for this weekend enagement session for Sara and Brandon! Sometimes with our crazy winter weather you just don’t know what you are going to get in the dead of winter, but we were prepared! Warm blankets, hand warmers & treats for the kids. There was only one small series of unfortunate events that took place;)   The road into the cabin was so slushy and icy we couldn’t actually get in. Hey but, it was fun trying! And I did leave early so no worries there.   The Holiday Inn it was for the night. No worries!

Sara & Brandon wanted to shoot in their favorite little town of McCall, Idaho and can I say they nailed it! I mean this girl was not feeling well at all and by the look of these photos, you wouldn’t even know it. I was so proud of them! The kids were amazing!

A beautiful mountain wedding, tucked back in the  trees  of one of my favorite places of all time. McCall Idaho. Raeann & Dave are one of the sweetest couples I have met, with the sweetest family ever. Maybe one day you will get to meet these amazing people! I know Im sure glad I did.

 

Amber & Ivan | Jerome Idaho | Wedding

Amber & Ivan’s love for each other was pure magic. I loved watching the way they glanced at each other through the night. The sweet moments, The tender kisses & the twinkle in their eyes of fresh love.  It was almost as if there was a little magic in the air . It might be one of my favorite moments of a wedding day. Those sweet tender moments, they are so priceless, those sweet father daughter dances, they melt my heart everytime.

Lexie & Reed Engaged! | Boise Idaho | Engagement Photographer |Adventure Awaits

Do fairy tales still happen?  Does that night in shining armor  still ride in on his white horse to carry his princess off to another land? Does Chivalry still exist?  Well ladies I believe when we are faithful and patient in Gods plan, He blesses us in the big things.

Adventure Awaits!  Lexie and Reed’s adventure began almost 2 years ago when I was in Japan, Ohh, I should fill you all in I am also her mom and photographer.  While Reed came over to go shooting with Travis that might be where it all began, the friendship, the fun, the entertainment and the the joy, laughter and love that has filled our home from that moment on.

From that day forward Reed has become a part of our family, yes including dinners at night.  He treats her like the princess we have always wanted for our little girl to marry, he loves God with all of his heart, he works very hard and he has the heart of a servant! it just doesn’t get much better than that.  Their personalities balance each other out which we love, it’s a good thing to because she’s got a little sas, which he says he loves’ LOL, I guess we all  do, it’s what keeps our home laughing in tears most days. She does bring us so much JoY! and I just can’t imagine it any other way.  Congratulations you to and welcome to the family Reed 🙂

Carrigan & Maddie | Idaho Engagement |Engagement Photographer

These two are the cutest and we seriously had so much fun out at the Chateau Des Fleurs and in Hidden Springs.

This beautiful girl had the surprise of her life February 18 at The Vintage Wedding Show hosted at the Chateau des Fleurs! It was the day after her 18th birthday. Maddie was part of the fashion show and Carrigan was most definitely her Prince. She had NO clue he would propose right there on the runway for all to see. Maddie’s favorite part of the evening was definitely at the end of the fashion show when Carrigan walked down the runway while their song was playing. Maddie was videoing him walking down the runway and suddenly he stopped in front of her chair. I would imagine this princess had the sweetest of dreams that night, that is, if she slept at all.

Amber & Ivan | Jerome Engagement |

Ivan and Amber met in high school. Amber was the new girl and Ivan had been there all his life. He said Amber was different from other girls and he wanted to get to know her. Ivan was just a tad too shy to ask for her number so his friend had to do it for him. Soon after that we started talking, and then than became like the best of friends and went everywhere together. Since that day, Ivan and Amber have been inseparable. They are still best friends and have always have fun everywhere they go. This last summer they decided to do a California road trip. One of their stops was Huntington beach. The sun was setting and Ivan took Amber for a walk on the beach. It was there that he got on one knee and asked her to marry him.

Cathy Jo & Tim |Idaho | Elopement

Cathy Jo & Tim  are some of the most giving people you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. It was truly my honor to be able to be apart of this beautiful elopement with just a few family members present. Don’t worry Y’all the big Christmas wedding and party she  has always dreamed of for 2017 is just around the corner.
