Every time that I get to shoot at a new venue, I have a hard time believing that it’s real life. Having us photograph a wedding is an investment at this stage in our business. So for my brides to Be so gracious and even tip you… I mean is that even a thing? to have someone invest in not only our Wedding Experience but also choose to leave a tip, is an incredible honor!
As soon as we arrived we were so impressed with the gorgeous setting. The Venue was beautiful and the event staff were amazing!! It was the perfect setting for an intimate wedding! Jake & Erin were surrounded by family and friends as they shared their vows in boise Idaho. It was absolutely perfect….. no rain… no humidity, and a beautiful sunset!
The property itself isn’t huge and so Jake & Erin were so trusting when I asked them to use unique and unassuming areas for their portraits! They walked dirt roads, we not afraid to get dirty and stepped into a hydrangea bush all for the sake of great portraits, and I couldn’t have been more proud!!!
Mara and I love photographing their beautiful wedding day and we’re so thankful that Jake & Erin you are such an amazing couple. Thank you for allowing us into your life for this special season! It was truly an honor to capture your day for your families! Enjoy your blog post!!!

Abi & Rhett are the sweetest couple in the world, young and in love like many of us did so long ago. Adventures planned packed and ready for the future. The day started out as planned while the girls were all getting ready at the Edgewater Event Center in Eagle. All of the details were just perfectly beautiful. Before you know it we were off to the church for the Ceremony then back to EdgeWater for more fun for the reception, food, dancing and more…

A classic Idaho country wedding right in the heart of WINDY idaho on a beautiful spring day. Well almost perfect spring day! Since we started out the morning with crazy rain, high winds that broke the tent and my poor bride and groom had to order a new one. So this took on a whole new meaning of the wedding day going a whole lot of wrong. But let me tell you they were troopers because this was a 3 hour delay no one planned on! But guess what here in Idaho The troops always pull together and make things happen! so with out a hitch, things got done, and our bride didn’t get to stressed and we carried on with out to much delay! Since we had such a late winter the trees had not budded quite the way she had hoped, but once again she was a trooper because at the end of the day Miss Cheryl and Kevin get to get married! And on a totally different note, I am beyond proud of these two, they have waited and done things right! and I can’t even wait to see what God has planned for these two love birds next. Heres to you Kevin & Cheryl!
Waiting on mom of course;)
These girls at the salon do amazing work!
Kevin & Cheryl had just an intimate moment right here and it was so sweet. where they just danced together alone. it was just precious!
The wind was so crazy we had to find a little place down below to do family photos and bridals winds were up to 40MPH. Welcome to Idaho ya’ll 🙂
Do fairy tales still happen? Does that night in shining armor still ride in on his white horse to carry his princess off to another land? Does Chivalry still exist? Well ladies I believe when we are faithful and patient in Gods plan, He blesses us in the big things.
Adventure Awaits! Lexie and Reed’s adventure began almost 2 years ago when I was in Japan, Ohh, I should fill you all in I am also her mom and photographer. While Reed came over to go shooting with Travis that might be where it all began, the friendship, the fun, the entertainment and the the joy, laughter and love that has filled our home from that moment on.
From that day forward Reed has become a part of our family, yes including dinners at night. He treats her like the princess we have always wanted for our little girl to marry, he loves God with all of his heart, he works very hard and he has the heart of a servant! it just doesn’t get much better than that. Their personalities balance each other out which we love, it’s a good thing to because she’s got a little sas, which he says he loves’ LOL, I guess we all do, it’s what keeps our home laughing in tears most days. She does bring us so much JoY! and I just can’t imagine it any other way. Congratulations you to and welcome to the family Reed 🙂
So much love & fun….
A perfect day for a picnic.
Nap time anyone?
If only I could have heard what he was saying and what she was thinking:)
the look of love in their eyes, it’s so precious…
The ring, so pretty…
A kiss for a bike lesson? sure why not 😉 seems fair enough.
These two are the cutest and we seriously had so much fun out at the Chateau Des Fleurs and in Hidden Springs.
This beautiful girl had the surprise of her life February 18 at The Vintage Wedding Show hosted at the Chateau des Fleurs! It was the day after her 18th birthday. Maddie was part of the fashion show and Carrigan was most definitely her Prince. She had NO clue he would propose right there on the runway for all to see. Maddie’s favorite part of the evening was definitely at the end of the fashion show when Carrigan walked down the runway while their song was playing. Maddie was videoing him walking down the runway and suddenly he stopped in front of her chair. I would imagine this princess had the sweetest of dreams that night, that is, if she slept at all.
I first met Riley at Lauren’s wedding, it was pretty clear even that day that Shelly had found a keeper. I first met Shelly on Lauren’s 9th birthday. I knew she was a pretty special young lady when a former Miss Rodeo America managed to clear time out of her day to meet a little girl whom she does not even know for lunch. We have been connected every since that beautiful day and she has been part of our family every since. Shelly has managed to do everything from riding lessons, to rodeo queen lessons, which include (modeling, speech, interviews, horsemanship, photogentics and more) as well as just be an amazing friend and mentor in our lives. and Yes, she was in Lauren’s wedding, but enough about that lets move onto the magical love of two amazing people. I have always prayed for the man to come into her life that would cherish her the way she deserves, to love, honor, cherish and adore her the way she deserves. I even remember those days when she broke up with those young men who did not cherish her and their values didn’t stand the test of time. Then came Riley. The first thing I noticed about him was his gentle hart and the way he adored her, on the first day I met him, it didn’t take long before I knew she better not let this young man go. He really was her Prince. I mean let’s be honest he even does Yoga with her, now it doesn’t get much better than that. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I absolutely loved that i had the honor of telling the magical story and I do mean magical story of there day. It it is one to go down in history, every image tells a story of love, honor and dedication to those that love and adore them both.
